Hillsong is a contemporary Christian church spanning over 30 countries around the world. After joining for a short period, I decided to enroll in their Hillsong boot camp. My role as a graphic designer was to help with their weekly social media posts and drive more engagement. Mainly creating content for Instagram and Facebook.
Hillsong - CT Brand
Though Hillsong church has an established global brand, their local CT denomination takes on a slightly different creative look and feel. Appealing to mostly young teen adults, their aesthetic is urban, energetic, innovative, and bold.
Fresh Designs
Although I had a lot of freedom to design for Hillsong, I wanted to ensure I was adapting their existing brand look and feel while keeping things fresh. I incorporated their primary colors: black, white, and yellow while using textures and collage elements. My main focus was to maintain clarity through the call to action for each post while still keeping the information vibrant and raw.

Collaborating with the Hillsong team helped me develop an eye for modern trends. Keeping posts fresh and alive while establishing a clear call to action proved to be challenging yet rewarding.
